Church on the Street

Identity for Burnley-based charity, Church on the Street.

Not just your ‘usual’ church – alongside holding services, Church on the Street is a charity on a mission to support those in need. With many of its staff coming from a place of lived experience, including its founder and ex-gang member Pastor Mick, Church on the Street welcomes everyone with open arms, Christian or otherwise, offering support services including a 12-step recovery programme, a food bank and accommodation support.

A new identity was created to convey the organisation’s broad offering. Subtly keeping their faith at the centre of the identity, the logo is built around the negative space of both the crossroads of a street and the shape of a cross.
